Research interests

In-situ remediation technologies, mechanisms of environmental oxidation-reduction processes, use of injectable zerovalent iron particles for remediation of organic compounds, fate of zerovalent iron particles in natural systems and its transport mechanisms in the porous media.

Since December 2013: Post Doc at University of Vienna, Department of Environmental Geosciences.

2009 – 2013: PhD studies at University of Antwerp, Faculty of Science, Department of Bioscience Engineering.
Thesis: Use of injectable Fe-based particles for in-situ treatment of contaminated groundwater. Graduation: July 2013.

2009 – 2013: Researcher at the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO) in AQUAREHAB project (Development of rehabilitation technologies and approaches for multi-pressured degraded waters and the integration of their impact in river basin management).

2007 – 2009: Young Researcher at Technical Faculty ‘‘Mihajlo Pupin’’, University of Novi Sad.

2006 – 2008: Master of Science in Chemistry – Quality Control and Environmental Management, Faculty of Science, University of Novi Sad.
